My god. One, you type of people have no life what-so-ever. Two, how .. in THE hell would you know a damn thing? I must know.. did you figure this out on a CG video off of IGN that was not actual gameplay, or what? I mean, be real here buddy. Nice try, really seriously.. NICE TRY! I don't know if you've seen the BIA:HH bootleg vid on gametrailers or not, but compared to the CoD3 trailer.. haha. I'll be buying both, so it doesn't matter to me, but you my friend are just.. sad.

Seriously, I don't know why u would even post that on this board cuz most of the people who come to this board r big fans of this game - me for one. And ur just gonna start a major argument, besides, strategy/thinking is what makes a war game. In a real war soldiers don't run blindly in hostile area and shoot anything that moves, they work as a team and use well thought out tactics to bring down the enemy, for example: BIA. So next time, think about what u say.

I'm not hating, but that is in today's warfare.

There is no way in hell you can have "well thought out tactics" in a place like the Normandy Beaches, or in Holland with all the Chaos, or in Sicily, or in many other places. I agree they had to use some tactics, because a good portion of WWII fighting was house to house fighting, but they didn't strategize like they did these days, they were sent in there, told their mission, but not how to do their mission

I love both games. Love CoD for its run & gun, and love BIA because it draws u in with superior story and voice acting, plus it is fun with good AI. SOme people like it with scripted events and driving tanks, while others prefer commanding squads and the feeling of gaving their fates in ur hands...
GOD I WASTED TOO MUCH TIME TYPING THIS

i respectfully and completely disagree with you.house to house fighting is the worst combat you can face and any unit going in to secure an area must have TACTICAL ADVANTAGE to minimize casualties and be successful.you just dont run into houses guns blazing and throwing grenades cause you wont have a unit left by the time your done especially against an imbedded enemy who has the advantage.you must know how to come into an area without exposing yourself to mounted mg`s in windows, snipers and booby traps just to name a few.

as far as normandy goes tactics was very important.yes once we hit the beaches it was every man for himself until you could find some cover but once on the beaches commanders had to formulate a strategy to breach nazi defenses and clear out the bunkers that covered the beach and were infested with germans firing hmgs`.i thought privat ryan did a good job of showing these type of tactics.there is method behind the madness of war,its not just men running and shooting.

I respect your opinions, but what I am saying is well thought out tactics cannot be just popped up in a hot zone. Yes House to House fighting neede d good leaders with good tactics, but they were basic ones though.

and yes, I did watch Band Of Brothers

Practice, practice and practice until the unit is an well oiled machine that can react to anything a foe can throw against you and very good leadership. House fighting needs alot of training.

wow ok ur a real dumb ass of like a big 1 cuz if ur saying that normandy which is the largest invasion ever put to gether was not thought out then ur really stupid like way up there. They did use well thought out tatics in WWII if they didnt it would have been like COD were battalions of men r killed in 1 mission to destroy a flak gun...another thing is most of the tatic used by the army r now text book examples of tatics and taught to officers in the army today so blow urself

Dude, your an idiot. COD has no realistic features to it at all! You vs. the whole German army, the guys on your team around you shoot at basically nothing. You do all the killing! There are allied soldiers next to you for a reason you know. And wait, you regenerate your health. That is the most unrealistic thing I've ever seen. And in BIA you have tactics you have to use, its not just another shoot them up WWII game.

i will admit that COD has unrealistic gameplay, but at last the storyline is more or less accurate. the WW2 games that are unrealistic not only in gameplay, but their story, are medal of honor games I mean. at the end of european assult you find the germans have a WMD!! A WMD!!!

Clearly, the original poster expresses his thoughts in an intelligent way, well written in paragraph form describing how a game that he has never played is better than another game he has never played.
