Empires Mod: Good Things To Come
07:55 | by [PSOF]Reaper
A very large progress report from the guys over at the Empires Mod shows good signs of things to come. With the switch to the new Source SDK, many previous bugs have been squashed, as well as all hitbox issues that were faced, and many other annoyances and bugs.
Many of the models have been undergoing re-modeling/skinning/animating as well, and of course, new higher-quality sound effects to match. Two new maps will be available in version 1.08 as well.
Many new features are being implemented that will make Empires stand out even more. For the full Monty (as well as new weapon renders, animation videos, and additional map shots), be sure to head over to empiresmod.com and check it all out!

It's once again time for IGN's tradition of letting their readers pick the Top 100 Games of All Time. Halo: Combat Evolved can be found on place #14 and Halo 2 ended up on place #25. Two years ago Halo 2 could be found on place #19 and Halo: Combat Evolved on #18. So during the last two years we could draw the conclusion that Halo: Combat Evolved's popularity has increased while Halo 2's has decreased.
