I don't know about the best ever, but I think it's perhaps the most criminally underrated game of this generation. I also hope Namco gives it the sequel it deserves.

good lord yes is it ever underrated! it needed some more hyping. it was so good. i'll admit that when it had a problem, it had a really big problem... but it was REALLY GOOD!! the prob i had were how the t'lan could kick the regular humans butts so easily and not take any damage and then you could punch and kick the hell outta them but then when it came time for you to fight humans, they killed you hardcore with their wimpy guns!! also, the fighting engine left a little bit to be desired... when you got hit, it almost felt like game over since you would fall over and have to recover and then you'd gte hit again and so on. if you had a better way to recover. but for what it was, the game was insanely good. bette than many games ive played recently. the energy ball thing was a little week, i hated the way he threw it. if he threw it out with an open palm like a punch... that would be rad. my fav part was when he took his second injection (drugs make you stronger kids!!!) and he blew through the grating !! that was soo cool... god..
basically, your character was a little week. he had incredible strength but when he was getting hit, he was dying fast. if they made him a little more resilient then that would be perfect. also, the AI on the T'Lan need to be boosted.. it was weak!! but other than what i mentioned, it was a super awesome game and i hope to god there is a sequel! and maybe they will hype it properly and get people to buy it this time!! cuz they could have made a mint offa the first.

breakdown movie??? OH DEAR GOD NO!!!!!!!it was an ok game and had some great moments and great story but a movie???i hope not!!

I would say it was underrated, just picked it up in a sale for 98p thats, couldnt believe it when I saw it and the game rocks!

ever made!!!
Have you heard anything about a
movie??? I think it would be ammazing!!!
I really hope they come out with a
sequeal soon!!! They will have to
work hard to make the 2nd one better

I agree with you that it blows. It's a trainwreck when it comes to gamplay and controls, it's like it was never tested before coming to market. But I'm not with you on the graphics, I thought they were very good on the Xbox. I would have liked to just watch it and not have to play it in order to see what happens next in the story. Unplayable.

not the best game ever but the story deserves a 10... or 9.5
no joke that is how good the story is.
it is also fun too which is so important.
the controls were the only bad thing about it.
