Final Fantasy V Cheats

Hint: Turbo Money
For this cheat you need a controller with automatic turbo. Go Lugor Boarder town and enter the pub. Stand on the stairs that lead up to the stage. Bind X to a turbo function, then either tape X and UP down (or just UP if you have a controller with auto-turbo). Now you will step on stage, dance, make 100 gp, and the system will keep going this. Go to sleep or outside (or play another game). Your pay should average about 18,000 gp an hour.

Hint - Mystical Knight Maiming
Ever play as the Mystic Knight? Cool idea, channeling magic through your sword for minimal MP and various spell effects including Drain, Aspil, and Holy. Males get a snazzy turban too.

The thing is though that if you do choose Mystic Knight as a class you will see that anything above the first level of elemental spells, (Fire, Ice, Bolt, etc,) will miss -- a lot. Especially when fighting bosses. And that Drain and Aspil magics will be invariably useless as they only take HP or MP that you have lost.

There is a way around this. Master the Hunter class and set the ablity X-strike to your Mystic Knight. You will notice two things: X-strike does not ever miss, and your enemies really hate getting nailed four times with their weaknessess for damage that makes mages blush or turn green with envy.

In fact, many minor enemies will suffer Instant Death if hit with their weakness at third level as if killed by a Doom spell. Undead killed with a Fire3 sword strike will not auto-revive if killed in this manner. The aforementioned Drain and Aspil, which steals HP and MP respectively from enemies, will become unimaginably lethal.

You will suck out more life than you've lost and more life than the enemy actually has. Much more. I'm talking 1500 points of damage a strike (1500 X 4 = Dead Enemy)! Spells like Aspil will let you drain all the MP from an enemy leaving them virtually helpless if they rely on spells to attack.

You can even kill supposedly unbeatable enemies like Garkimasera with this combo. (S.O.B. doesn't give you much for it). Even the mighty Omega and Shinryuu were helpless before me as I savaged them with non-reflectable elemental infused mayhem.
