It's getting ugly for Richard Lee. The story was actually on the front page of the Express News yesterday. Things went from bad to worse when the city sent in tow trucks to haul off Lee's apparently ill-gotten goods.

As Lee played online poker, police raided his home and took just about everything except the commode. I don't know what hand Lee was holding, but the cops left with a royal flush. Luxury cars. Plasma screen TVs. A money counting machine. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash. Betting slips.

The story goes on tell of the prominent citizens who have been implicated in the ongoing ordeal.

My grandfather, who played with both Richard Lee and his father way back in the day, has long told me of the various civic leaders who did in fact join in the games.

Can't wait for the dust to settle on this one.

I assure you, I think I have now answered that age old question of "why would anyone go to Minnesota?" Here's the answer.

I can't stand chatty Kathy Liebert and I like her even less when I read a 2+2 member report his completely biased summary of why he hates her after their Main Event altercation.

Apparently there are many degenerates in our country going to casinos when they should just stay at home with their families playing STACKED. For shame.

I have a million pet peeves in life, but that's more of a discussion for my shrink than you people, but somewhere on that massive list is people talking about things they don't understand -- like implied odds in poker. Thankfully, Barry isn't one of those people, so you should read his article dealing with them.

It's great to hear that Fillmaff-wannabe having a good time, even if he tries to get cute spelling New Orleans.

Nothing is black and white in poker and oftentimes the answer to a scenario is, in fact: it depends.

While I think CardPlayer would be improved without Roy whoring up his real estate business, you cannot knock that he wrote one of the best articles this month, dealing with a situation we find ourselves in often: a strong hand that hasn't gotten any better.

2+2 is discussing a lawsuit filed against Jamie Gold. The Las Vegas Sun reports that "Bruce Crispin Leyser claims that Gold promised to pay him half of whatever he won at the series as part of an informal arrangement."
