That was my sad attempt at "the funny." Please note before reading: These changes need to be tried before you comment, on both sides of the fence. The reason FOR these changes is that we are likely giving Banelord to more classes in this patch, but to do so while Banelord is so powerful would be stupid and bad for the game. Finally, please note that there will be a poll in the near future about the potential "third ML line" options. Before we do that, I'll be posting a list of the options (meaning I'll post the proposed additional line for each class). Here's the proposed changes to Banelord, and we do welcome feedback from those with detailed information from their Pendragon testing.

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- The following changes have been made to the Banelord Master Level line:

All spells and Abilities in Banelord, with the exception of Primal Agony and Agony Transmission, have been changed so they no longer interrupt other players who are casting.

Primal Agony and Agony Transmission range has been reduced to 500 units.

Snaring Tendrils of Power now correctly has a recast timer of 5 minutes.

So, they are nerfing the snot out of it so they can give it to more people? What about the classes that get groups ONLY becuase they have banelord? Charge is very, very nice but all our zerks are talking about going valks and savages now. And we haven't even seen for certain what those 2 are getting for MLs.
People do tons of complaining about caster damage yet they nerf the main balancer for that damage?

People always talk about how banelord is the counter to casters, but I can't ever remember anyone mentioning it hurts healers too. One of Mythic's goals recently was to make fights last longer (thus the healer class love). Imo this will help healers out quite a bit too.

lol this third ML line idea is such crap. It's like George Bush with his gay marriage ban amendment: try and avoid dealing with real problems by creating a new problem for everyone to gawk at.

Seriously, what is the point of testing??? If the things that interrupted before interrupts or not? Well you took it away, so I would imagine it won't, but anyone and their brother could test that.

Are we supposed to test what the impact will be in RvR? Do enough people play NF on Pendragon to test this? You have tested Banelord enough to determine it would be "bad for the game" so what exactly are the players supposed to test for? If it is good for the game? Have you even given the abilities to anyone yet TO test? How can we test something that we can't even adequately gauge the environmental factors in play when they simply don't exist?

I do not understand this testing thing AT ALL.

actually it will be harder to heal when someone is getting nuked by 700 base damage on nuke + crit in insane speed

I guess you forgot about warlock insta cast, BD TWF, Thane with ST and hammer of doom and new unkillable valks

power to the casters i guess, mythic ruining a perfect day like always thats what i pay em to do obviously /rude @ devs

dont be handing out a 3rd ml choice in the first place why is it even needed ? whos idea was this ? and most important who decided it was a good idea...

make a login poll GRR

stop adding crap and start fixing what you have instead, cover up old [mod/ToS] with new [mod/ToS] doesnt work anymore
