In Part 3 of Dead Man's Hand Developers Diary, found at HomeLan, Tim Gerritsen, Chairman and CEO of Human Head Studios confirmed that the game has been pushed back to 2004.

Tim also informed that if you have seen a review of the game, the don't take that as the final score since the game is not yet finished. "Some early beta builds were sent out by our publisher to magazines as reviewable final copies. This particular build contained some major bugs as well as unpolished work."

"The mags have agreed to re-review the game when it is well and truly final, and we thank them for doing so" he added.
