February 23, 2005 - Just in time for the sequel, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced it will release XXX - Uncensored, Unrated Director's Cut on a two-disc set on April 19 for a suggested price of $24.96. That month will also see the release of the sequel, XXX: State of the Union.

The special edition will add eight minutes of footage not seen in the theatrical version of the film and a short feature called The Final Chapter: The Death of Xander. Xander will be played by Khristian Lupo, making him the third actor in the role; Vin Diesel starred in the original film, Ice Cube is in the sequel.
