July 25, 2002 - Ah Korea. The biggest bunch of PC gaming fanatics the world has. They take a hobby for most people and turn it into a way of life, nay a religion. Starcraft and Lineage are their gods and LAN shops are their temples. Well a new god is trying to move in on the action. A god by the name of Dark Age of Camelot. Seeing as it's had some serious success over here in the states, we can only imagine that with a little bit of marketing and some good press, it'll do just as well if not better over there.

"Korea is one of the most important and growing markets in the world and we're gratified by the overwhelming response of over 15,000 Korean beta testers," said Mark Jacobs, President of Mythic Entertainment. "With a planned full roll-out in Korea later this summer, we are poised to continue our record-breaking success."

But first, they have to get the server structure and make sure all of the text and localization fixes have been met. So it's time for a little bit of beta fun. So all of you Koreans out there will be happy to hear that Dark Age has entered the open beta stage and will most likely be ready for release soon.
