October 28, 2005 - When you breakdown the game of football in its simplest terms, sometimes you get the best explanations for what you see out on the field. Take for instance the stat of Scrimmage Yard Differential. This simple stat takes every team's yards gained per game and subtracts yards allowed per game.
They are the Redskins, Seahawks, Bucs, Colts, and Cowboys.
And their combined record heading into Week 8?
25-8.
Speaking of records, Madden bounced back last week, predicting the most correct outcomes with an 11-3 mark. Cold Pizza's Lomas Brown was second, going 9-5, and I finished last at 8-6. But as they say, the last shall be first. Here are the overall records so far this season:
