Bungie Studios released today eight new screens of Halo 2, taken from the multiplayer level showcased at the Microsoft press conference. In Halo 2, the sequel to one "Halo: Combat Evolved," the battle comes to Earth as Master Chief, a genetically enhanced super soldier, is the only thing standing between the relentless alien Covenant and the destruction of all humankind.

Peter Moore introduced Bungie's Joseph Staten and Max Hoberman, who demonstrated this never-before-seen multiplayer level of Halo 2. What we saw can only be described with one word: unbelievable.
