In a recent trading update, Argonaut announced that Vivendi Universal Games has informed them that VU no longer wishes to publish Malice and has cancelled the development contract, returning all rights in the game to Argonaut. VU has offered to help Argonaut in signing Malice to an alternative publisher.

Argonuat was quick to note in the same statement that their other contract with VU, SWAT: Global Strike Team, is unaffected.

Orchid

Following discussions with Namco on the redesign of Orchid, Argonaut decided to terminate Orchid's development. Argonaut�s other contract with Namco, I-Ninja, is also unaffected.
