Nissan Zaroot Concept
Nissan stuns Europe with its radical gullwinged concept!
- For those of you that don't remember, and for those of you that don't like looking at half-naked boobies, I was once the proud editor-in-chief of the IGN Babes channel. Those were some glorious times, as I could write whatever I wanted. I could write entire paragraphs about nothing, and I have, at times, written entire sentences that read "blah blah blah". As long as there was a half-naked lady somewhere on the page, all was good. This was a good thing, as there were times I knew absolutely nothing about the lady in question. I'm not about to let a bunch of hot photos go to waste just because I can't get the vital info on a certain model. Fans that liked the babe could do a Google search on their own to find out the lady's favorite type of pizza.

Now that I am running the Cars channel for IGN, things have gotten a lot harder for me. For starters, I am now required to "show up to work" and "not be late". These things are tough, believe me. Not only that, but my articles are required to be accompanied by "facts". To make things harder, I have to "check" these "facts" to ensure that they are "true". I can't ramble on and on about my desire for a robot pal, nor can I use trickery and tomfoolery to pad the word count of my articles.

...Or can I?

You see, I found this Nissan Zaroot concept at the Geneva Auto Show a couple of months ago and really wanted to write about it. The only problem with this, though, is Nissan hasn't exactly released any info or specs on this gull-winged concept. Hell, this car/truck/whatever it is can't even be found on Nissan USA's official press site.

I fretted about the distinct lack of info on the Zaroot for quite a while. The fact that the Zaroot couldn't be found on the Nissan USA site caused me to lose sleep and hit the bottle with every night. In the middle of one of my insomnia binges, I had an epiphany: why not check the Nissan Europe news site? It was brilliant! Or so I thought...

To be fair, Nissan's European news site did have some pics and info on the wild-and-crazy Zaroot concept. However, I was only able to track down a scant two hundred words on the vehicle. True, these few words did come straight from the mouths of Nissan Europe's PR people, but I was left wanting more. The press release for the Zaroot is so short, I'll just go and quote the whole thing here. I'm feeling way too lazy to try to stretch a 200-word press release into something two pages long. Are you ready? Here we go...
