I know this is off subject..but they are making doa movie.....Kane Kosugi has been cast as Ryu Hayabusa. The rest of the cast and plot to me doesn't seem to be as good as it could be so far...but Kane is the perfect choice. He is japanese-american, the son of ninja master Sho Kosugi...so subsequently Kane knows Ninjitsu, taekwondo, gymnastics, karate and some forms of Kung-fu. He is already and established actor, speaks fluent japanese and english, did I mention he does his own stunts?? If they decide to do a Ninja Gaiden film...Kane has already been cast as Ryu Hayabusa in DOA the movie..so he is a definite for the role in a ninja gaiden film. He is best casting decision for a character I have seen in recent years for just about any film. The DOA movie may not suck after all. All they need now is a good villian for Hayabusa to face, great action scenes and a decent plot.

Well that picture looks real. Very real. Anyway, we'll hear all the good stuff within a week. Though it really sucks for everything to mess up for Microsoft at the last minute. And I don't think that's a phone picture. It looks rather clear. Anyway, it looks big compared to the Xbox, but then I can't really say for sure. Got to see it side by side and up close.

Splicer261, the trouble with releasing the 360 in Dec is that most parents buy their kids presents over the months leading up to Chrismas to spread the cost! If M$ released the 360 in Dec most parents would have already bought little Timmy a PSP in Nov, and will be hiding it in the cupboard until Christmas day! Good call M$!

Thats cool, I havent touched Xlive in two months and probably wont for awhile since im playin Jade Empire. I got all excited seeing the commercial though, makes it seem more real when you see the advertising on tv. Still good info for those without Xlive.

512mb video and also 512 system. would be nice to have 1 gig system and 512 video or better up the cpu to a quad core like the newer macs are supposed to go next year

up ram to 2 gigs and give us a dual 512 video card. that would be enough to shock everyone and also have evrryone wishing the xbox 360 gets hacked fast so we can make cheap linux boxes or media centers and run emulators and homebrew

Do you think its already in production or are they going to hold off until last few months incase they need to upgrade a few specs? Im not familiar with how long the process takes in order to get an adequate number of units for distribution; kind of curious. If it was me id hold off as long as posible; that way I can upgrade if competation does, but just to keep it on the safe side Id up the RAM to 512MB.

what is up with the killers? Some of the songs are catchy enough, but even compared to other FM radio, i find them unremarkable.

I don't think it was an accident, I think it was a calculated leak made to look like an accident. Who knows, maybe not. ANyways come November I will have a shiny new Xbox 360 in my living room hooked up to my Plasma and playing Unreal 3 engine powered games. Word.

Yes, I'm sure this was an accident. MTV and MS have such stupid people working for them, that they let something like this slip? I don't think so. Information on something this big doesn't come out on accident. It may get leaked to the public from an inside source, but to accidently release this kind of information is highly unlikely. It doesn't matter to me though, I am just really glad to hear it will be coming out in November. I hope they make a bunch of new systems, there is nothing worse than some kid not being able to get the thing he wants the most for christmas. Not only that, but I would be pretty pissed if I wasn't able to get one either. I hate the mark-up that happens due to heavy demand with a small amount of product. I'm sure everyone else remembers when the ps2 came out. They were hard to get, and people were paying through the nose to get one, but it could have been prevented if sony would have made more. I remember walking out of the store with mine, I didn't make it twenty feet before some guy tried to buy it from me, and he was willing to pay five hundred bucks for it. I turned him down, of course, but I couldn't help thinking about that poor guy doing everything in his power to make christmas perfect for his son. I can only hope for the best.

This wasn't an accident and it isn't the first time November has been confirmed as the launch date. Allard confirmed it in an April 29th interview with Kikizo.

It doesn't get any more obvious than that. But we still don't know the exact day. I think Microsoft is fine with the month slipping out since they still have the day to announce. And it seems to fit Microsoft's strategy of letting certain bits leak out to build up excitement.

Having this special on MTV is nice if you think about it, but it would be even MORE nice if they'd thought about having it on broadcast television, like FOX. If they'd had this thing set up to happen after American Idol just think of the amount of hype they'd have built up for the system.

Not a bad mistake, but a mistake that now Sony know what month to target. It makes sense though, Halo2, Xbox Live, and the original XBox first went on sale in November. Halo 2 broke the November 15th mold, but it still was November.

Anyway, Now I really want to see the MTV special...
