April 19, 2005 - Due to the great response we received regarding last weeks Forza: Masterbit Theater, we've decided to follow up the piece with a feature that's sure to make some waves amongst the gear-head community.
In this edition of Masterbit Theater, we've decided to pit the venerable Gran Turismo 4 against MGS's upcoming driving simulator, Forza Motorsport. Here are the video specs:

Track:	Laguna Seca
Car:	Dodge Viper SRT10 '03

Forza Motorsport is on the left side of the screen, GT4 is on the right. All Forza audio is on the left channel, while all GT4 audio is on the right channel, so if you wear headphones or have speakers that are easy to disconnect, you'll be able to discern between the two games by eliminating a channel of audio (left speaker or right speaker). There's no music playing in the video, so you'll easily be able to judge the quality of sound effects and engine sounds in both games.
The piece runs for two laps, one lap the camera view is the default behind-the-car pov, while the second lap is the default cockpit camera angle. Everything is of course presented in the beautiful Masterbit standard.

We've listened very closely to our reader feedback to bring you this feature, so we hope it's all the evidence you'll need to decide which title looks the most authentic. Let us know what you think of the piece, and hopefully it's a good resource for you guys.
