April 18, 2005 - For those of you that caught MTV's Total Request Live last week, you may remember seeing the music video debut of Activision's upcoming multiplatform movie-inspired videogame, Fantastic Four. The first in a series of four different videos, the 90-second segment features Reed Richards as Mr. Fantastic as he shape-shifts his way through a horde of oncoming enemies.

"Creating four unique character-driven songs and music video-like trailers is a whole new approach at integrating music into games," said Tim Riley, worldwide executive of music, Activision, Inc. "This project underscores our strategy to use artists that are aligned with the content and feel of our titles, further enhancing the overall sensory experience for players. The Fantastic Four game will also feature the signature musical theme from the film's score, which was composed by John Ottman, whose credits include X2: X-Men United and The Usual Suspects."

The video features a new original song known as "Error Operator" from the up and coming rock band, Taking Back Sunday. The next three videos will boast completely different songs from entirely different bands, and we'll offer each and every one of them every Friday over the next couple of weeks.
