April 04, 2005 - There's a new poster for Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which you can check out below. The new one sheet shows Johnny Depp as the film's title character, with the cast of young characters in bubbles at the top.

Tim Burton's wildly imaginative take on the beloved Roald Dahl classic follows eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka (Depp) and Charlie (Freddie Highmore), a good-hearted boy from a poor family who lives in the shadow of Wonka's extraordinary factory.  Long isolated from his own family, Wonka launches a worldwide contest to select an heir to his candy empire. Five lucky children, including Charlie, draw golden tickets from Wonka chocolate bars and win a guided tour of the legendary candy-making facility that no outsider has seen in 15 years. Dazzled by one amazing sight after another, Charlie is drawn into Wonka's fantastic world in this astonishing and enduring story.

In addition to Deep and Highmore, the film stars David Kelly, Helena Bonham Carter, Noah Taylor, Missi Pyle, James Fox, Deep Roy and Christopher Lee.

Burton directed the flick from a script by John August.

Frequent Burton collaborator Danny Elfman composted the music for the flick.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opens on July 15 from Warner Bros. Pictures.
