Hell in the Pacific v2.0.1
Allied Assault - Saturday, April 2, 2005, 09:53 -
Comment! | Matthew Pruitt
Mod Theater has now released a patch for the recently released total conversion, Hell in the Pacific.
Without further delay, the incremental patch 2.0.1 for Hell in the Pacific V2.0 has been released. By its name incremental patch, it means it's required that you have version 2.0 of Hell in the Pacific installed. If you do not have V2.0 installed you will need to do so before installing the patch.
MAC USERS: We know we have problems with our Mac installer. We are working hard on correcting the installer. This patch for Mac users simply consists of the patch pk3 file.
The following is a list of fixes the patch addresses:
Fix sound for mounted guns
Remove prone
Remove some of the messages in class script
Remove some of the messages in jail script
New version of PC launcher
Fix shader for The Swamp sky
Weapon Balancing
Increased the amount when a medic heals a player to 5
Fix "hole" in beach for Senjou Shima maps
Add Conquest Night version of Senjou Shima (objhitp07)
Added custom scoreboard picture for all original MOH maps
Add more radiomen skins to the radioman class(4thmarines2, navy_fo and yuzunu-ma)
Minor updates of menu graphics
You can download the PC patch here or the MAC patch here.

GameSpot has broken the news of the next Medal of Honor console title, "Medal of Honor Street."
As the name implies, Medal of Honor Street will take the series in a new direction. The game will be set exclusively during the conflict's most intense city battles, including Stalingrad, Caen, and Berlin. It will also follow a squad of airborne paratroopers culled exclusively from top American metropolises, including Los Angeles and New York City.

Changing of the Guard

Well folks, we all knew the time would come sooner or later. After three glorious years of being the site director of PlanetMedalOfHonor, it's time to say farewell. I've been with MOH through the good years and the bad, enjoying the entire ride. I would like to say "thank you" to the staff, IGN, and also to you, the fans, for making PMOH what it is. I know it sounds like a cheap celebrity speech, but I truly mean it. I hope Medal of Honor: European Assault redeems the franchise for the console side of things, considering there will be no further PC installments of MOH - marketing has been, and always will be better with console games. Thanks again folks, it's been fun! To leave me a farewell message, go here - it would be highly appreciated, even if you hate me!
