The Ultimate Halo 2 Experience
This article is for Shaquille O'Neal and Bill Gates. They're about the only people that could afford what we're about to show you. The cost to set up this system truly is an astronomical cost, but make no mistake; this setup would give you what would essentially be the finest system in human existence to experience Halo 2 with. The only thing better would be if Bungie ported the game to a Holodeck or some crap, but that's not happening anytime soon.
Keep in mind that all of the components here are of incredibly high quality. So high that you may not notice a difference between what we're listing and a similar product from a different vender. So when we tell you that we'd take a set of Wilson Audio speakers for our setup, that doesn't mean we woudn't be just as happy with a Dynaudio set. And now, on with the show Seating As you'll be sitting on your ass for hours on end fighting off hordes of Covenant soldiers, you'd better have a nice seat to plop down on. But wouldn't it be convenient if your chair offered up more functionality than just holding your body off the ground? Our choice of seating has to be the La-Z-Boy Oasis. The Oasis is actually a discontinued product (Why, God? Why?), but it's still available from many vendors, mostly in the UK it seems. As such, we're including it on our list since they're still available for purchase.
If you've ever watched Friends, you've probably seen the La-Z-Boy Oasis on the show. Available in Black Leather (our favorite), the seat features a built-in cooler, massager, heating and phone. If you have a bucket, you shouldn't ever need to stop playing. The left arm of the chair flips up to reveal the built-in cooler. It'll hold six cans of your favorite type of beverage in shotgun fashion; that is, the cans line up in a row running down the arm. Take one out, another slides up. The phone has Caller ID and room for SpeedDial, so if you put your favorite pizza place in there and leave the door open, you don't have to leave the chair to eat or drink. Mmmmm, pizza. The chair also has a 10 motor massager, providing relief after hours and hours of continuous play. And the built-in warmer will keep you cozy long into the winter months. Price: Varies (About US$1,800 in the UK)
