THUG 2 Remix Reviews

The first THUG 2 Remix reviews are in and surprise, surprise! it's getting great scores.
PSP IGN gives it an 8.7 and the game landed an 8.5 at GameSpot. They report that "...the graphics, while insanely impressive and very comparable to the PlayStation 2 version, have been scaled back slightly." Good to know. Regardless, the reviews don't fault the graphics at all. IGN's article is a bit more specific about the Remix changes.
I also came across a
Preview of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3D.
GameSpot reports that, "Jamdat has tapped Ideaworks 3D to port the first five levels of the original THPS to the LG VX8000.

The folks over at
thugXonline have set up a live IRC chat w/ a pair of employees from Neversoft! THe chat will take place on the 12th of March, at 4pm EST.
The guests are Jeff Morgan (Level Designer who created the THUG2 levels New Orleans and Skatopia and the THUG levels Vancouver and Slam City Jam) and the legendary andyTHPS, a player so good that he was offered a job at Neversoft! (you can see our interview w/ andyTHPS

THUG 2 Remix Preview

There is a new
Preview of THUG 2 Remix over at
GameSpot. The article also includes a designer interview which clocks in at just under 5 minutes. This can be
found here.
Not much new information was included, but it is stated that everything from THUG 2 will be present in the handheld remix, including all the skaters, levels, and 50+ songs. Of course, 4 new levels, bonus skaters and objectives are present. Check out the article, the PSP hits US shelves in just over 3 weeks.

THUG 2 Remix Preview Trailer

With the release of THUG 2 Remix less than a month away, we've got a nice preview trailer for your viewing pleasure. Located in our
THUG 2 Movies page, the new video shows off some of the 4 new levels. Atlanta, Kyoto, Las Vegas and Santa Cruz are the added levels, and on top of these, there are new guest skaters and level objectives!
Somehow Neversoft has managed to make THUG 2 even bigger, and this should prove to be the ultimate version of THUG 2 out there. The Sony PSP launches in the US on the 24th of February.
