October 26, 1998 - With the N64's biggest game less than a month away, it comes as no surprise that Nintendo is announcing Zelda merchandise and marketing deals by the day. You've heard about Zelda action figures, but what about Zelda 64: The Novel?

Leading publishing house Sybex Inc announced today that it will publish an officially licensed "novelization" of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time "I've been reviewing videogames for more than 13 years. After seeing this game first-hand, I truly believe it's one of the best games ever created," said Jason R. Rich, author of the book. "I am extremely excited to be working on this project."

Reviewing videogames for more than 13 years? My God, you must be quite nuts by now, Jason!

Scheduled for publication in November 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Pathways to Adventure will retail for $9.99. The book will be the lead title in Sybex's new Pathways To Adventure series, which places characters from the hottest selling video and computer games into stories based on the games.

We're not sure what the next title in the series will be, but we'd love to read about how the Yoshis set out to bring happiness back to their world. Imagine the possibilities!
