Game Help Q&A; 2004-Sept-24
Fable How do I ... ? --Everyone Playing Fable Read the unofficial IGN Guide. --http://users.ign.com/about/daveyclay Dragon Ball Z Super Sonic Warriors I need to now is there any way that I can erace my file on DragonBallZ Supersonic Warriors. If so PLEASE tell me! --Zsword2000 Starting a new game may involve pressing L+R when continuing a pre-existing game; for clarification, visit the free Dragon Ball Z Board and ask someone who played the game recently. --SNG-IGN 007 Everything or Nothing In mulit-player mode, mission 2 in the Mines I'm stuck! The part of the mission starts with your boss (the lady) basically telling you to be quiet and not to be seen. So you have to walk around and kill everything without being seen. I can get to around 6 or 7 kills, but I can't navigate around the area without being seen. Any suggestions, on how to navigate around without being seen or how to approach this section of mission 2? Any help or suggestions would be great. I'm playing the game on XBOX. --JesseSM 007 EON FAQs and Guide to answer most of your questions. --SNG-IGN Grand Theft Auto Vice City Hi. I know this might seem silly with San Andreas coming out but I can't proceed to that game without 100% in Vice City. I appreciate all the info you've presented on vice city on the site, but I just can't seem to get the damn 100%. I was told that you need to get the fast reload to 100% the game that seems to be the only thing I haven't done because it seems to be next to impossible. Any tips on how to do that would be appreciated. I'm at 99% with all the basic stuff out the way (all properties, ramps and packages done, major and side missions, RC's) I don't know what I could be missing. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon. --Kel Josephski Previous Game Help that dealt with it. You can also check your records menu to see what you may be missing. Note that some extras are not listed. --SNG-IGN Metroid Fusion I want to know if you answer questions. If you do i have one. In sector2 TRO, after beating the giant spider, when im trying to verse the plant, how do you get out of the plants that absorb health from you??? Thanks --Suri That's what these are for: Metroid Fusion FAQs --SNG-IGN Legend of Zelda Ocarina Of Time How to get the bow for the arrows --gyko3 All in one breath...anyway, here's a detailed strategy for retrieving the Fairy Bow. When you first enter the Forest Temple, kill the two Wolfos. Climb up the vines on the right (When you're facing the Temple) and kill the Gold Skulltula. Go across the trees and get the key in the chest. Go through the door leading into the Temple. In the next hallway, kill the Big Skulltula with your Hookshot and continue. In the Great Hall, go north, ignoring all the doors on the left and right. Before going into the northernmost door, turn right and kill the Gold Skulltula and retrieve the token. Go through the door. Next room is a hallway with two Blue Bubbles. Use your shield to disable the blue fire and slash away. Go into the next room, where you'll have to face two Stalfos. Lock on to one of them and keep your shield up. When it slashes at you, jump attack it. Once both are done, a chest will appear, containing the second of four small keys. Return to the Great Hall and turn to the door to your immediate right. You'll find a blue block there with the Temple of Time symbol. Play the Song of Time and continue through. The Courtyard is linked via two different passages. However, you can only access one at this time. Upon entering, turn right and go to an ivy wall with Skullwalltulas on it. Kill two of them with the hookshot and start climbing. Time your climb carefully so you go past the third. Enter the small alcove. There is a small room inside where you'll have to fight a Blue Bubble. Upon its defeat, the Dungeon Map will appear. Go past the treasure chest and into the next room-the East Courtyard. Aim your hookshot to your left and you'll hook to another balcony. Step on the switch, which drains the water, opening the second passageway from the West Courtyard to the East. (Or vice versa) Jump down into the well and open the chest on the opposite side, then return to the East Courtyard. (Up the ladder) If you aim it just right, you can get to a chest containing a Recovery Heart. However, to the left of that is a Gold Skulltula. Kill it and retrieve the token. Leave back to the Great Hall. The door will lock behind you. Go forward to the center of the room and (Without changing camera angles) go forward left to the three-level stone tower. The puzzle in here isn't as complicated as it looks. Simply push a box in the direction indicated by the arrows, and when it hits a wall, find a way to push it a different way. Once all the boxes are in place, climb up to the top level of the tower and use the first of your 3 small keys. Welcome to the Twisted Hallway. Go forward until you reach a room with a chest and ladder on the wall. QUICKLY jump across the blocks and into the next room, the Phantom Staircase. Ignore the paintings, you can't destroy them yet. Go down the stairs and into the next room, which is another battle with Stalfos. Now, this battle can be a little tricky. At first, you only have to fight one. But, there's an added challenge of a hole in the middle. Try to be careful of a mis-timed jump attack. When the first one dies, a platform will come down from the ceiling, filling the hole. Two more Stalfos will appear. Kill one then quickly kill the other, because if you don't, the other will come back to life. Once both are dead, the chest containing the Fairy Bow will appear. Good luck. Until next time, Master of the Dark Trio, signing off. --ansem_ruler_of_dark Playstation 2 Analog Control Stick Hi. I have a PS1 controller that works with all games on my PS2 game console except MVP baseball 2004. Any suggestions on how I can get the game to recognize the controller? --Ken Recent PS2 games recognise only the black/blue/clear Analog 2 controller for the PS2. This controller is backwards compatible with the PSOne. --SNG-IGN Unanswered Questions Headhunter 2 Redemption: Can someone please help me with LVL 2 Codebreaker on Headhunter: Redemption? I have figured out sequence A & B, I can't figure out C at all its the one were you got to only use three squares. --phillyt313 Conan Dark Axe (PAL-EU/AUS) Conan. how to beat this boss?? hi i hope someone can help me with this because i kind of enjoyed this game so far but i really dont understand how to beat this boss underneath the temple. im not sure what the passage is called but its a green fat thing sitting on some kind of socket and its throwing green something at me. at the beginning there are 4 enemies running around the arena and theres a red pot(or is it a heart?) on a shelf or something in the middle. the endboss is protected by some kind of force field which i cant pass and beating the red pot does nothing at all. what am i missing...? pls help. --OmnikronFS Answer(s) to these questions will be featured in the next Game Help Q&A.; --SNG-IGN And the Rest ... I am quite sure that thus far it has been made evident that Games sell consoles. Sure, some consols specs may not be apt for certain games... but when a console releases a good game, it eventually hauls mass amount of fan support. This is one of the reasons Nintendo has been able to keep on the videogame battle for long, world-wide fans are seeking to plummet onto Mario's next adventure, or fly with Fox in his Airwing, or hack and slash with Link, or zap Metroids with Samus... Nintendo has mantained its pace thanks to it's few exclusive games, and many of them are First Party games. The company has had a lacking Third Party support ever since the times of the N64. Which is a real pity, because there are many great games that were released for either Xbox and PS2 that could have also been wonderful in the GameCube. Yes, the current increasing fad is Online gaming, and MMORPG are being plagued by people. But let us not forget the interactivity that is intimacy... 4 people playing on the same box, psyching or bashing each other up while playing a round of Mario Party, or any other multi-player availability game. My question is, what is the bottom line for Third Party developement houses to support a system? Is it all because of the money? If so, I am sure that many lack to see, that if they release good games on more systems, the cost may rise, but their profit will sky-rocket. It is quite odd, seeing how during the Sega/Nintendo/everything else, Nintendo was King of Third Party support. Give input, please. --Alucard No comment son -- answering this question alone lacks the intimacy you think games require. --SNG-IGN Do you have a question about a game or how to beat a boss or simply why these @#$!%!! codes don't work? Ask them on IGN's free Game Help boards and we'll be there to answer your queries each week and post the most interesting and thoughtful ones for the weekend. |
