March 03, 2005 - Paramount Home Video will release Team America: World Police, the politically-incorrect marionette flick from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone on May 17 in two flavors; offensive (theatrical) and extra offensive (unrated, uncut edition). Both films will sell for $19.99.

The theatrical cut and the unrated special edition will have the same extras. The only differences is that the unrated director's cut will include one extra minute of footage, and what a minute it is…

Paramount will offer the theatrical cut in full screen and widescreen formats, while the uncut version will be in widescreen only. Both versions of the film will sport Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. Extras include:

Production featurettes: Building The World, Crafting the Puppets, Pulling The Strings, Capturing the Action, Miniature Pyrotechnics, Up Close With Kim Jong-II, Dressing Room Test and Puppet Test.
