Morten Byom, Anarchy Online's Game Director has spoken with some AO fan-sites and answered their questions while providing the sites with some unique items to give to their avid readers.
For the French community of players and fans of MMORPGS.INFO, a new interview is posted that answers questions regarding Anarchy Online. MMORPGS Info also hosts contests to win unique concept art prints in the upcoming weeks. MMhell (which recently awarded Alien Invasion as Expansion of the Year) have also grilled Morten on relevant topics, while offering fans a unique opportunity to win autographed prints from the Anarchy Online Art Director, Stian Dahlslett.

In many outlying areas, Omni-Tek's control is less than absolute. The challenge comes from rebel clans that have banded together in a somewhat loose alliance, and there is also a third faction regarded as more or less neutral.

We at AO Vault highly suggest you do this to avoid the misuse of your account. Funcom is not responsable if you give your account username and password to another player or through a site which is not theirs. Better be safe than sorry.
Become an AO Tester [Post A Comment] - Print News | Mail News The test server is used for testing upcoming patches and other changes in the game before Funcom puts them on the live server (i.e. where the regular Anarchy Online game-world is running).

If you want to be part of their external testing-team, you need to download a duplicator (24kb).
The download file creates a copy of your existing Anarchy Online installation. Choose the path of your current install, and where you want to make a copy of it. The copy will allow you to connect to the "Test Live" server, by running the "anarchy.exe".
Notes
Anyone with an Anarchy Online subscription can play on this test server. There are, however, some important things to be aware of when using it:
There is no Support staff working on this server, and Funcom cannot guarantee your characters' safety. They may from time to time have to do "player wipes" (i.e. erasing all player characters from the server), and we may do things that cause weird results on this server - so consider yourself warned. This is, in fact, a permanent beta-test server.
Help the game by becoming a tester, see what may come into the live servers and consider it a community service for AO.

Details about the Professionals program and a scheduled downtime tomorrow (Friday the 21st) for routine server maintenance is also mentioned.

Project Vault Freelancers Print News | Mail News We're looking for reporters willing and able to provide at least 1 article a week, be it based on in-game events or ficticious (4 a month).
Such articles must have at least one graphic (screenshot) we can work with to add more credibility to it.
Guidelines need to be followed, so there is no articles like 'Daughter of Ross marries clanner' which would not be feasable (and FC wouldn't like it anyways).
