Archive | Submit | | Soupe Du Jour: Taxes | So it's that time of year when Americans have to file their taxes with the IRS. And most people procrastinate, delaying the inevitable until much closer to April 15th. Well, I am not one of those people.  Yep, filed my returns over the weekend. Took less than 2 hours, but it's annoying having to do it in the first place. Fortunately the task keeps getting easier, with Web sites that aid the process for those in the know, and the idiot-proof Intuit/H&R; Block software packages for the masses. No one has an excuse to not do it, especially when your federal and state government give money back to you! Getting a nice sum back myself. All I have to do is decide which I want more, the AKG K271 headphones or a DVD burner.  --Asrale
