GDC 2005: Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse
Note that we said "up to" 1600dpi. The catch with this mouse is that you can change the MX518's resolution on the fly. Why would you want to do that, you ask? The lower the resolution, the slower your pointer (or crosshair) moves. The point is that you can have a regular high setting (1600dpi) and then some lower resolutions for when you're sniping or need to get a good bead on someone.
The mouse supports up to five customized resolutions, which may be set in increments of 50dpi. Pressing a small button above the mouse wheel steps up a setting, and pressing a small button below the wheel steps down.
The Logitech MX518 gaming mouse will be available in April carrying an MSRP of $49.99. |
