Dear Friends: Music From Final Fantasy On Tour
Nubuo Uemastu fans living in Northern California can rejoice. The acclaimed "Dear Friends: Music From Final Fantasy concert experience has been scheduled to take place on the opening night of the annual Game Developer's Conference, being held in San Francisco this March.
The concert will be held at San Francisco's historic Nob Hill located Masonic Auditorium on Monday, March 7th. Grammy Award winning conductor Arnie Roth will conduct the Symphony Silicon Valley and full chorus as they glide through selections from the Final Fantasy musical oevre. Additionally, Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu will be in attendance. This concert is only the third time that "Dear Friends" has taken place in the United States. The first stateside "Dear Friends" concert took place in Los Angeles on May 10, 2004. The second will take place at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago on February 19, 2005. VIP tickets for the San Francisco show will be available for a post-concert meet and greet.
