I am working on getting the video up on Xbox.com, but until then you can see some nice explanations of the guide on Xbox.com.
Watch that page for the video of the keynote as well.
Here ya go…it’s a big file. If anyone can mirror it that would be great

Wow…J just gave 1,000 Samsung HiDef TV’s to the audience!! Talk about a great kick off to the HD era. PLUS everyone also got a free year of Xbox Live.
(I am typing this out on my mobile phone…sorry if there is bad grammer etc…)
J just finished a demo that is showing an example of what the next generation Xbox interface could look like. Words can’t do it justice. Player avatars, gamer ranking, gamerzone and more. He just mentioned that ALL next generation games will support in game sounndtracks…through one universal user interface. Your friends list will also be accessed through one common UI….no more hunting for how to bring up your friends list. Friends list, media player and more is all quickly accessible via ‘the guide’. You need to see it to really understand it.
Wow…there are a lot of complex concepts here, so after you listen to my podcast (which I’ll get up on on the site as soon as we are done here)..watch the video of the keynote up on Xbox.com later today.
J’s Keynote just started…there are over 3,000 people packed into the ball room here. I’l get the podcast up as soon as I can. So far I have two letters for you: HD.
Here are some photos I took tonight at the GDC Keynote rehearsal.
J Allard on stage running through his speech.

This is one of four areas backstage that will control the video for the speech.

These are the REALLY expensive projectors that are projecting the HUGE HiDef image behind J. Why are there two? In case one breaks in the middle of the speech, one can pick up the slack.

Here is one of the production areas…there have got to be at least 50 computers back here running the show.
