Episode III Poster Revealed
The poster art matches the style of the previous Struzan posters, initially
designed for the Star Wars Special Edition (see it again, for the first time)
release in 1997 and carried on through to the prequel trilogy.
Badboy Anakin takes center stage, with Padme and Obi-wan on either side. Yoda and Mace Windu rock out with their lightsabers out as Anakin and Obi battle it out in the foreground. Nice! Darth Sidious/Emperor Palapatine (in case you hadn't figured it out by now, they're the same person shock! surprise!) is hunched over in one corner, opposite the pre-Tie Fighter ship-looking things (we believe that is their official name). All this with a giant, looming Vader head in the background. Watch out for those lens flares! The full-length theatrical trailer for Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith makes its world premiere tomorrow night (Thursday, March 10th) on FOX's The O.C., which airs at 8:00 ET/PT. Additionally, the official site has a nice little page up with the new poster and all of the previous posters side-by-side. Dig that if you want, but first dig this...
