Lemony Snicket's Fortunate DVD

March 03, 2005 - Paramount Home Entertainment will release Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, featuring Jim Carrey, in both single- and double-disc editions on April 26. The single-disc release will run $19.99 while the two-disc version will cost you around $29.99.
Based on books by Daniel Handler (a.k.a. Lemony Snicket), three children are placed in the care of their odd uncle Count Olaf (Jim Carrey) after their parents are killed in a fire. Count Olaf plots to kill the kids and take the fortune they will inherit upon reaching adulthood.
