January 31, 2005 - Nokia announced today that King of Fighters: Extreme is now shipping for the N-Gage portable game system. Developed by Hudson Soft, the game is the first fighting title to make its way to Nokia's game deck.

King of Fighters lets you take on brutal combatants in a tournament to determine the true King of Fighters. You can go at it alone, or connect with other players via N-Gage's Bluetooth support to duke it out with a live opponent.

"We are truly excited to have one of the most popular 'beat 'em up' franchises on the N-Gage platform," said Nokia's Pasi Polonen. "Now gamers can have King of Fighters on the palm of their hands."
