February 28, 2005 - Koei will bring its Harukanaru Toki no Naka De series to the PSP, according to retail sources in Japan. The new PSP title will be called Harukanaru Toki no Naka De: Iroe Tebako and will see Japanese release on 4/1 at a price of 6800 yen.
PSP owners, in addition to getting the latest entry in the series, will get some big bonuses. The game will include a falling-blocks style mini game. Multiplayer will be supported via a four-player battle board game themed in the series' first entry. We don't know as much about the content of the main game, unfortunately.
Outside of the gameplay bonuses, Koei has a couple of surprises for fans. The game will ship with a special patch-work pouch designed to hold the PSP, headphones, a UMD and a Memory Stick. Fans of the Harukanaru Toki no Naka De universe will be able to look forward to the entire Harukanaru Toki: Ajisai Yumegatari original video animation, which is being bundled with the game (presumably on UMD).
As with the previous Harukanaru Toki no Naka De, this first PSP entry will probably stay in Japan, so PSP owners will want to import in early April.
If you're interested in this game, be sure to add it to your wishlist. You can keep notes, rank games, get updates by email, and more.
