February 28, 2005 - Excited about Homeland? Sure you are. Destined to be one of the few online games to ever see release for the GameCube, this latest RPG title from Japanese developer Chunsoft looks intriguing. Due for release in Japan in just a coupe of months, we already can't wait to get our hands on it.

Of course, we've preordered our copy through the Chunsoft eCommerce site. And sadly, it seems like this is the only way the game is going to be available in Japan, as Chunsoft announced today in the Q&A; section of its website that it has no plans for a full retail release.

Unless something changes (and it just might -- Chunsoft says to check back at its website for future updates), gamers in Japan will have to go through the Chunsoft eCommerce site to get their hands on Homeland.

As for gamers in America? Importing may be tough, so let's hope that someone gives this game a stateside release (assuming it's as good as it looks).
