Even though we're not together, I know that you're not far,
I smell you in the morning dew, I see you in that star.
I see it in your eyes, I see it in your face,
I'm betting on that long shot, to come and win this race.
The love I have inside my heart, I never could explain,
I'll never do you any wrong, or cause you any pain.
I know, sometimes, I make mistakes and things don't turn out right,
But through it all I know I'm safe, I have your love in sight.
When things go bad, and life is tough, and no one thinks of me,
I close my eyes, and think of you, it's an Angel that I see.
