February 15, 2005 - Guitar Center, the chain of musical instrument and recording equipment oriented stores, has announced that it will team up Nas for a February promotion.

GC, which has a long history of delivering creative promotions to their customers, have partnered with the Queensbridge microphone fanatic to give one lucky winner a complete signed library of Nas' albums on vinyl, tickets to one of his concerts, and a backstage pass to hang with Nas after the show.

While the name Guitar Center may signal the the store specializes in six-string axes, actually they cater to all forms of musicians. "The DJ/Producer is a large and important part of our customer base, one who continues to evolve and reshape the today's music. Partnering with Nas gives our customers a unique opportunity to come face to face with a critically acclaimed artist at the forefront of the industry," said Jack Sonni, vice president of marketing communication for Guitar Center.

Participants can submit entries at any Guitar Center location or online at www.guitarcenter.com, with the winner being announced in late March.
