February 4, 2005 - At a recent press event we had the opportunity to speak with Capcom producer extraordinaire Tatsuya Minami about Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower. It was then that we learned how Mr. Minami intends to expand the American version of the classic fighting game with a new feature, the four-player mode. Four-player wireless LAN, as it turns out, is just a round robin setup and not a tag-team mode. This means that players take turns fighting each other, opposed to fighting simultaneously.

Interestingly, the US version of the game was not even present at the event. According to folks working on the project, Capcom's inability to supply US versions of Chaos Tower for the press to enjoy is actually a fault of Sony's, as that company has yet to burn domestic discs. Because of this, we obviously couldn't test out the new four-player round robin feature.

Chaos Tower is set to release on PSP the moment it launches. Hopefully we'll be able to bring you more information on that version before it happens.
