February 4, 2005 - Verizon Wireless announced today that the acclaimed mobile game Tecmo Bowl is being made available this week through the company's Get It Now service. The game, which will run on more than 30 Verizon phones, is available at either a $2.49 monthly fee or a one-time price of $6.49.

Tecmo Bowl is a wireless remake of the original NES classic. The title features 16 national teams, play calling, quick-switching player control, and even tackle-induced vibration.
