January 21, 2005 - Popping up on EB Games' release lists is Tetris DS for the Nintendo DS, set to be published by THQ later this year. Though THQ has yet to announce the product officially, it's expected that the company will make the announcement at its Gamers Day press event in San Francisco on January 26th.

THQ has held the rights to Tetris since the release of Tetris Worlds on the Game Boy Advance, Xbox, PlayStation 2, and GameCube back in 2001.
