Guild Advancement System Explained! 1/21/2005 Development
Just as player characters have levels that reflect their achievements within the game, so do guilds. Guild members earn experience toward their guild’s level primarily through the completion of special city tasks. Unique rewards and items become available at reduced prices as the guild advances in level and its members gain prestige and status within the city. EverQuest II will begin with twelve servers including French and German servers to coincide with our simultaneous European launch. While most players will be able to pick up their copies from stores on Tuesday, some players are beginning to enter the game and discover a whole new Norrath. Update Graphics/Sound Card Drivers and DirectX 9.0c 11/09/2004 News
For those of you who own an NVIDIA graphics card, we highly recommend that you install the version 66.93 drivers located on the NVIDIA site prior to running EverQuest II. These drivers address certain UI and shadow issues that some beta testers have reported on earlier versions. For other brands of video cards please visit the manufacturer's website to ensure you have the latest version of all drivers.

Please also visit your sound card manufacture's website to ensure that you are using the latest sound drivers.

As a reminder; you will also need to install Microsoft's DirectX 9.0c to run the game.

For performance reasons, we also recommend you disable the anti-aliasing features of your video card prior to running EverQuest II.
