Meet the Fockers fell to second place after three weeks at the top.
The Ben Stiller comedy sequel added $19.3 million to give it an impressive
four-week total of $231.1 million.
In Good Company, starring Dennis Quaid, Topher Grace and Scarlett Johansson, rose to third from thirty-third after a couple of weeks in limited release. The Universal Pictures film grossed $14.3 million. Warner Bros.' Racing Stripes opened in the fourth spot with $13.9 million. Fox's Elektra debuted in fifth place with a somewhat disappointing $12.8 million. White Noise, the supernatural thriller starring Michael Keaton, dropped from second to sixth this weekend with just over $12 million. Martin Scorsese's The Aviator, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, finished the weekend in seventh with $5.1 million. In eighth, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events pulled in just over $5 million. The kid lit adaptation has grossed $111 in five weeks. Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, directed by Joel Schumacher, held in the ninth spot again this week with $3.7 million. Rounding out the top ten... Ocean's Twelve finished the weekend with $3 million.
