Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and SEGA have confirmed the official pricing and fees for The Matrix Online, the massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) which ships January 18, 2005. The game has a suggested retail price (SRP) of $49.99 and a monthly subscription fee of $14.99. Players who haven't yet prepared to jack in and pre-order The Matrix Online can still do so at http://thematrixonline.warnerbros.com/preorder.html.

Jack Emmert: I'm never worried about another game until it's released so I can't really comment. I wish them all the luck in the world. They've got a great license but it'll be a challenge to bring it to life. I do think it'll be a very different kind of game and attract very different players to City of Heroes.

In the last few weeks, players have begun engaging in consensual dueling and visiting the Archive Construct, a special pocket world existing outside of The Matrix, to join in Faction warfare against player clans of opposing alignments.
With this in mind, MxO Vault is happy to announce that we have lined up a PvP Interview with the developers of The Matrix Online. However, this will be a Community Interview, meaning we want you, the fans of The Matrix and gamers interested in The Matrix Online, to send us your questions on the topic of PvP Combat within The Matrix Online.
The MxO Vault staff will select the most relevant and informational questions and pose them to Monolith for the community members who submitted them. If you submit a question, please indicate the name or nickname we should use to cite the question's source.
