Exclusive Blade: Trinity Images
We're heading into the home stretch here, as Blade: Trinity opens nationwide in just a few days: Wednesday, December 8. Soon Blade fans will be able to see for themselves how writer David Goyer handles taking over the directing reins of the franchise. In this first image, Hannibal (Ryan Reynolds) finds himself in the Phoenix Tower, central lair for the vampires. But of course this isn't the penthouse suite. It's basically a modified cell a torture chamber where Triple H is about to get to work. Actually, he's already done a bit of that, tossing Hannibal around the cell. But Hannibal hasn't lost his sense of humor.
This next image is from a scene midway through the film. A familiar has allowed Abigail (Jessica Biel) to see the human blood farms. Director David Goyer wrote a similar scene for the original Blade but it was cut from the film. In Blade Trinity you'll get the full effect of what Goyer was going for. Abby's reaction kind of says it all.
Here Triple H, as Jarko Grimwood, does his part to locate the tomb of Dracula. I'd like to tell you exactly where the crypt is, but for that answer you'll have to see the movie (which you're going to see anyway, right?)
Somewhat early in the film, this shot has Blade (Wesley Snipes) on a dock opposite the headquarters of his new allies, the Nightstalkers. After a surprising turn of events, he watches to see if Whistler was able to get out of the HQ alive.
Here's Hannibal again, this time in the FBI building. He's trying to help Blade escape. Despite Blade's appraisal of his actions, successful or not, Hannibal gives it his best shot, guns blazin'. You'll want to note the name-tag he's wearing. Blade thinks it's pretentious, but needlessly pissing off vampires is fine with Hannibal.
