Just letting you all know that I've had to remove Gaming Top 20. The topsites script was draining server resources like crazy, so I had no choice but to shut it down. I'm sorry about this, and would like to thank everybody who joined it.

Oh, and the merger is still going ahead. It's taking longer than I hoped, but I'm working on it. :)

Forum members will already know the time problems I have. I just can't run two websites - it's too much.

Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is a fantastic game, and I'm proud of running the only Billy Hatcher fan site on the internet. But I can't keep on running it because of the amount of other things going on in my life. I made a decision about this site.

Billy Hatcher's Den will be merging with our affiliate Lufia World (which I run). This way, our content will be kept online, but alongside another (more popular) website. I hope this is a better choice than closing this site down.

The merge of Billy Hatcher's Den with Lufia World will happen in several stages. Stage one is about to start, and it concerns the forums:

All forum members MUST register at The Lufia World Forum even if you don't intend to post anymore. The Billy Hatcher forums will be merged with Lufia World's forum, so I need our members to have accounts at Lufia World to attach the posts to. If you don't register at Lufia World's forum, then your posts here will be assigned to "Guest".

Thank you Digi-Dolphin! After months of waiting, we've received our first Billy Hatcher fan fiction... and it's great! Have a read of it... it's called "Hero's Nightmare - Chapter One".

Some of the members who post in our forums have noticed a number of glitches in Billy Hatcher and the Many Eggs (a browser based game in the style of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg). If anybody wants to contribute to the list of glitches, please post here.

Also, I'd like to start a high scores page for Billy Hatcher and the Many Eggs. Please make sure you take a screenshot of your high score first though, and send that to me as proof.

Digi-Dolphin has kindly sent in a fan art called Teen Billy Hatcher, Possessed. The fan art relates to a piece of fan fiction that Digi-Dolphin is writing (which I hope will be sent in to us soon)!

I've uploaded two new drawings by Chaos Chao. One is of Sonic, and the other is of Shadow. What's Sonic got to do with Billy Hatcher? Not only is Sonic another character from the developers of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg (Sonic Team), but Sonic makes an appearance in the game. Take a look in the fan art section to see Chaos Chao's work.

Whilst using Google today, I came across a browser based Billy Hatcher game by Sega, which they've called Billy Hatcher and the Many Eggs. Basically, you have to hatch as many eggs as you can within the time limit (in the style of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg). Brief information about the game, and a link to it can be found here.

I sat down earlier today, and went through all the Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg pages, and updated them at long last! The only page I have removed completely, is the Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg wishlist. Obviously, that page isn't needed anymore as the game has been released. Hopefully I'll replace it with a page listing the game's main features. In the near future, I would like to work on character pages, guides, more screenshots, a review, and possibly a section about the different types of eggs.

I'd also like to announce my official return to the forums - I've been away from them the last few months, as real life has been very busy.

Finally - due to the lack of Billy Hatcher fan sites (this is the only one), I'm thinking about changing the affiliate system. I'd like to make it so any website (even non-GameSpy ones) can affiliate with us. Please e-mail me with your comments about this proposal!

One final thing - we're desperate for fan works! Please send them in. I've received some Sonic fan works, which I'll post soon... but at the moment we only have one piece of Billy Hatcher fan art - no fan fiction at all. Please send some stuff in!
