    Following a disruption to trams from a vegan rally last month, the carnivores have decided it’s their turn. Trams in the City may be disrupted from 6pm Sunday due to a BYO Sausage rally. The pescatarians will not be attending as apparently they have bigger fish to fry.

    If you think the passengers of your tram need a mask reminder, please tweet us the individual tram number (located at the front and rear of the passenger cabin) so we can play an extra on board mask announcement. Thanks for your help. (2/2)

    Due to earthquake damage in Chapel Street near Duke Street: - No Route 78 trams run between Balaclava and Stop 50 Toorak Rd. - Passengers may consider trains from South Yarra Station as alternatives.

    Unfortunately, illegal passing of stopped trams has returned to pre-COVID levels on our network. Thanks to @9NewsMelb for sharing this segment last night to help get the message out. We're asking motorists; when a tram stops, you stop.

    There is a concerning rise in the number of passengers being struck by drivers on Melbourne roads. Nearly 600 public transport users getting off trams have been endangered in the past two months, with seven people struck by vehicles. #9News
