It is inappropriate and misleading for the Conservative press office to rename their twitter account ‘factcheckUK’ during this debate. Please do not mistake it for an independent fact checking service such as @FullFact, @FactCheck or @FactCheckNI

- Sir Keir Starmer claimed at #PMQs that 600,000 more children are in poverty than in 2012, which is correct according to government data. So Boris Johnson was incorrect to say that Mr Starmer is “completely wrong” about past trends in child poverty.
- £2500 is *not* the maximum any family will pay on their energy bills this year. We wrote to the PM about getting this wrong yesterday. This morning, she’s repeated the false claim again in local BBC interviews. The public deserves better.
- We've written to @Conservatives to ask them to remove the “Tax Check UK" rebrand of @CCHQPress. This misrepresents posts on the account as an impartial fact checking service. Voters deserve better.
- A claim that a 2019 blogpost by Dominic Cummings was edited in 2020 to include a warning about coronaviruses is correct. The change appears to have been made in April. He claimed Monday that he’d warned about the virus last year.
- Boris Johnson has once again falsely claimed there are more people in work now than before the pandemic began. That's the SEVENTH time he's got that wrong in Parliament. @StatsRegulation have *told him* this is wrong. He must stop saying this and correct the record.
- “I’m pleased we had a record number of new homes built in the last year” - Rishi Sunak We’ve been trawling over the data for nearly a week, and can’t find anything to substantiate this claim 🧵👇
- On #bbcqt, Fiona Bruce said of Conservative funding plans for the NHS: “At the moment, it’s upgrading six existing hospitals.” Boris Johnson disputed this saying “No, it’s building six new ones immediately.” Fiona Bruce was right. Mr. Johnson was wrong:
- Earlier today the Conservatives posted an edited video of Keir Starmer's GMB interview. Editing the clip in this way has created a false narrative. It is irresponsible for a political party to mislead the public like this.WATCH: Jeremy Corbyn's Brexit Minister can't or won't answer a simple question about Labour's position on Brexit.

There are currently no safe and legal routes by which to travel to the UK for the purpose of claiming asylum. buff.ly/43ZNnsV
- Rishi Sunak claimed in The Sun that energy prices are rising, in part, because we’ve had a ‘colder than usual’ winter. But on average it’s actually been warmer than usual in the UK. Your Full Fact weather report... 👇 fullfact.org/economy/2021-w…
- At PMQs, Keir Starmer claimed that, until 12 March, government guidance had said people in care homes were ‘very unlikely’ to be infected with Covid-19. Boris Johnson said this was incorrect, but Mr Starmer was correct and previous guidance did say this.
- On TalkTV this evening Boris Johnson claimed the UK wouldn't have been able to approve the Covid-19 vaccines as quickly as it did without Brexit. This is misleading.
