The Buffalo Sabres are a professional ice hockey team that plays in the National Hockey League (NHL). They play their home game at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. They play in the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference. They entered the league in 1970 alongside the Vancouver Canucks.

The Sabres have made it to two Stanley Cup Finals, losing to the Philadelphia Flyers in 1975 and the Dallas Stars in 1999.
