Downloadable content (DLC) is additional content created for a released video game. Several Grand Theft Auto games had DLCs.
List of DLC in the GTA Series[]
- Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City (also available as a separate game) takes place in the same environment as Grand Theft Auto IV, but adds extra missions, weapons, characters and has its own storyline that interweaves with Grand Theft Auto IV one. It is comprised of two episodes: The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.
- Grand Theft Auto V was intended to receive a DLC in 2014. It was later cancelled and some of its content reused for GTA Online updates.
- Grand Theft Auto Online has gotten several free packs of additional content through downloadable content. A full list of these updates can be found here.
